Price vs. quality

Do you accept pathogenic substances in your furniture, textiles or even in articles that are intended to improve health and well-being? No, of course you don’t – and neither do we in our stable flooring. They are part of the environment in which cattle generally spend 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Milk and meat production are the primary economic goals of cattle farmers. Food production requires a high degree of responsibility, because harmful substances must not be transferred from the environment to the animal and thus get into our food.

All Huber Technik stable floor coverings have passed the PAH test of the German Agricultural Society (DLG) with no evidence of carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. They consist of 100% new rubber without recycled content (e.g. used tyre granulate), so that we can guarantee the purity of the rubber compound used at all times according to our own recipe.

Rubber products from the Far East attract consumers with very low prices, but often do not undergo the voluntary and cost-intensive testing procedures of recognised German institutes for quality assurance and consumer protection. The tempting low prices also lack any reference to sustainability. Massive signs of wear and tear are not uncommon after a few months of use, meaning that farmers have to approach their dealers with complaints.

Tested quality from Germany gives consumers and our sales partners peace of mind. Our stable floorings are extremely durable thanks to the high bonding strength of the solid rubber and their resistance to ageing thanks to ozone protection. Gapless/low-gap installation to factory specifications minimises the number of wear points.
